Ouch

First session back for a while and I have regressed and the plan has progressed so the gap was large. 
Could hardly raise my arms to wash my hair! 
Feels good though and am looking fwd to tomorrow already. 

Left shoulder is not getting better and requires a doctor visit to be setup for next week.

Walkabout

I have had a bad few weeks. First got sick then got bad cold then was really lazy! Played touch on sat and football yesterday so now back and keen. It's going to be really tough doing the exercises tomorrow after a big break but want to get the most out of the last 3 weeks. 
Have remained strong on the food and booze front at least! 

Update tomorrow.

I am back

Back from ski-ing. Really enjoyed being a bit fitter and having stronger legs than normal.
Had some full on days where I was really hurting so feel that I got
plenty of exercise and certainly felt more tired than when doing PCP
plans. Only did extra on one day.
Diet wasnt great. Slipped up and had a few chocolate cakes at the end of the day...
Overall feel very good after the week.
Am ready to get back into the PCP swing

Oops

Missed training today and likely going to miss tomorrow. Just not enough hours in the day before holidays.
Will have to make up for it by ski-ing hard..

burning

Wow some of these new exercises are tough. The ski jumper and the bike riding were tough. Seems like the exercises have jumped up faster than I have improved. Ski-ing next week so am thinking of dropping the skipping and leg exercises for a week as will get plenty of exercise if I go hard ski-ing. Might just keep the abs work. All in all feels like a good time to do some different exercise to refresh.

another business trip successfully negotiated

3 days in Tokyo is normally lots of drinking and eating, not this time! Diet wasnt perfect but did the exercise and stayed off the booze.
Feeling very tired at night today after a busy day and lots of running around. Need my buff sleep.
Off ski-ing next week and think that I will notice a difference in my energy levels on the slopes after 7 wks of this which is a very nice bonus.

A day off

I just couldnt find the time today to do my exercise and spent the whole day trying to work out how to squeeze it in.
Its a good sign that I really feel the need to do it..

benefits showing through

Played touch rugby this morning and its was the best I have felt for a very long time. Feel energetic more and more.
Also notice that my patience levels are increasing and feel more generally calm.

Step up

Its been a while! I skipped day 24 as wasnt feeling well and have come back stronger for it. Am enjoying the step up in exercises and am starting to really look forward to getting the heart rate up. Playing touch tomorrow and am sure will notice the uptick in energy. Photo to be updated tomorrow!

1000 skips non stop!!

Suddenly its clicked and can get through them straight fwd without tripping up. Might have something to do with the fact that on Sat I didnt do any as played touch rugby instead.
Did well while I was in Sydney, exercised every day, ate ok and no booze.
Found it tough once when everyone was having red wine with steaks but think it will get easier and easier.

Testing times

Wow the triceps exercises are tough. My busted left shoulder seems to be getting a bit stronger. I probably should ice it afterwards but time is tough. Off to Sydney for 3 days which is going to be hard to find the time for the exercise but will do it.

Keeping up with the kids

The body clock is starting to change as woke up naturally at 530 this morning and I want to go to bed at 930!
Felt great yesterday as was out exercising with the kids who were on their bike/scooter and could keep up. That's one of the main reasons I want to keep fit is to keep up with them and stay 'young' as long as I can.
Exercises were bit tough this morning as didnt stretch yesterday. Must find the 10 minutes each day to do it. Proud that I got through all the sit ups even if I had to take some pauses.

In the groove

As its been public holidays and been getting to work later it has been great to get up a bit later, do the exercises and then stretch! The stretching has made a big difference and I dont feel totally stiff all the time now.
I got through the exercises fine this morning except couldnt manage all the sit ups. First time I didnt complete everything.
Skipping has improved a lot and get through it without many stops now.
Its amazing how quickly the body and mind adjust to the exercise. Am excited to keep going and keep feeling better and better.

Catch up

Friday missed out off exercise as woke up late and couldn't find the energy at night. Yesterday did two sets to make up which was fine though the pushups were a struggle. Obviously need some more strength! Dinner party at home last night and early on really fancied a wine but held on and was easy in the end. Think I can get through 90 days of no booze fine and exercise will be fine. Being strict on the diet will take more effort. As I don't need to lose weight it won't kill me as long as I eat healthy. 
Am going to do another two sets today to catch up as started a day late. Calves will be stiff after that as already feeling it already today. Must make sure I stretch a lot daily

Great news. Woke up feeling like it was time to get up and the exercise was less scary.
Started to feel like I will get through this. Early days but on a roll.

Day 3

Nearly rolled over and went back to sleep! Very glad I didnt as started to feel a bit like a routine. Shouldnt be surprised but am a bit stiff this morning. The calfs from the skipping are the worst and what I will need to be careful off.

Finally started today. Not the best start flying back from NY on the 15th. Already feel better for getting up and doing some exercise!
