Day 18

Workout finished... Counting skips is just awful and I will keep bitching about it until I get a self counting jumprope... I have realized thats the reason I stop most of the time bc I just loose count and have to go back and retrace what I have already done. 

Cooked bamboo shoots for lunch tomorrow.?.?.?.? yeah I don't know how they are going to taste either. Chicken marinated in tangerine juice with my favorite spice ever, CUMIN! Should be good!

I hear you on the counting the skips. It's a nightmare. My only vague success has been breaking it into blocks of 50.

Chicken in tangerine juice sounds very interesting. How does that work - just tangerine juice and cumin mixed together and chucked on the chicken for a bit?

Yeah Tim, complete nightmare.. I think we both need to get one of these self-counting ropes... I will be on a mission this weekend to scoop one up... 

Basically what I did was put 4 semi-frozen chicken breasts in a frying pan, half a teaspoon of olive oil, put a hefty amount of cumin and rosemary on with a bit of basil. Seared the sides on high, brought the heat down to low, got a decent size Tangerine and squeezed it and even sprinkled a bit of the pulp around, cracked some pepper, chugged 3 beers and ate some snickers ice-cream, put the cover on again on lowest heat, then went into another room and ripped into the lunges. By the time I rolled away after the ab exercise. The chicken was perfectly steamed/boiling in a nice mixture of tangerine juice, water & spices... I tried a lil bit and it was quite good... Looking forward to it tomorrow...
