The Final Dig

A big thank you to Patrick, Sarah and team for the great program and top support thu the 90 days .
Well done to team Taurus ..... everyone looks fit and healthy and should feel very proud .
I hope the guidance and education has set me up to enjoy what I term the "Back Nine" of my life .

Day 84

Easter Break guests in town and struggling a bit to comply ... need to get back on track and power to the line .

Day 74

enjoying the hard work and pushing hard ... still a bit sore and weary being an old dude but good to get amongst it ...
have been skipping a few snacks by accident but no real stress

Day 70

Away for a golf trip and had an indulgence ... ate ok but had a few to many drinks ... will step up the action and get back on track ..
I skipped indulgence 2 and saved it for this given it was planned ages ago.

DaY 63

Played tennis midweek ... filled in for some mates in their comp.. haven't played  for 7 years I worked out but with a lighter rigg I think I was too enthusiastic !  Woke up really stiff and then pushed thru my workout ... that night I could no move and was really sore for 2 days .. gave it a days rest which helped and back on track .

Day 58

Had my indulgence on the weekend .... nothing too bad .. a beer and glass of wine Sat night and had meat with my Veg at the Thai restaurant before the flicks ... Headhunter ( was good ) .... meat and salad Sunday night and missed a few snacks over the 2 days ... all over the joint really, but I wasn't going junk ! .... bad nights sleep and was weak as piss on the work out today ... how's that ! ... Need a good kick to get me motivated for the home straight .. the excuse factory is just down the road and I want to make sure I go straight past it on the way to completion ... Keep it up team ....

Day 10

The training post today is very timely ..... getting killed this week .... training alone everyday is tough .... and being no Jamie Oliver I am struggling big time with variation on the meals ... that said I am still enjoying the challenge in an overall sense , just struggling in parts .

Day 47

Like some of the other PCP ers , this week it has been a bit half way tough ......... getting thru all the exercises is hard but I'm substituting ones I can't get thru or don't have the equipment like pull ups ............. Hang tough everyone , we are on the back 9 on the way to the club house.

Day 43

Good to see a bit of variation on the diet albeit small ... lucky I love veggies.
Weekends are tough without a beer especially when it's 38 and 36 .... Had to go to a function during the day and they had coldies on ice that just looked incredible  compared to the water I was drinking ....  no pain no gain

Day 37

Still really enjoying the program ..... food seems to be easy .... still struggling with a few of the exercises but making sure I substitute if i struggle with something......... Hope you are all going well and enjoyed the weekend

I must admit I had a bit of a giggle when I saw the menu ... but so far so good so why would I doubt the good folks at PCP..
I struggle still with pull ups,push up and Vsit . I substitute some thing from same category if I fall short .  
Good luck team   ... this week we may have to dig deep

Day 27

Have been doing the exercise program in the morning before work and feeling terrific  ... Had one day this week where I had to do it in the PM session and I was falling asleep at my desk after lunch ..... amazing ..

Week 4

Week 4 and enjoying the higher energy, better sleep and a few notches in on the belt ..... feeling stronger and by the looks of building exercises I will need it  .....No going to talk any negatives ..... no pain no gain ......... Long way to go so we all need to remain upbeat and positive . Good work team keep it going!

WEEK 3

Out of the pool and back on the skip ! took it easy ... too hard to count so i just did about 10min with some breaks ... stretched extra for today ...... have been trying to push harder on some of the exercises ...   push ups still hard and left wrist getting a bit tender. Making sure I do extra on the bands so i can really feel the burn .... sit ups and leg ups are hard toward the end on the back but hey ... no pain no gain ......  Still feeling pretty full .... didn't feel like lost much weight week 2 ... hope it was because I was adding muscle.

Day 11

Getting thru exercise and food .... still feeling pretty full .... don't feel like I am losing much weight this week but I can sense(or hope) the muscle is starting to swap with the old stored fat .... feeling stronger slowly

Day 10

Day 9

Strained a calf skipping this morning just when I thought I was getting on top of it ....                                                                   The guys have sorted me with some swimming ( how appropriate given my surname ) until it comes good ..                                 Agree with other posts , I am full ! ... Starting to sleep better and have noticed a slight improvement in energy levels ..
Enjoying the ramp up !

Week 2 lets go

First crack at the new week... exercise step up is very noticeable but good .... plenty of variation on the food front so all good.  Hope you are all enjoying your Chinese new Year .. I had one glass of red Wed night during the week ... then a ceremonious stubbie last night pre dinner while we cooked ... So long beer,will catch you later on ..... next weekend will be my first dry Australia day weekend since i was about 16......

Day 5

Starting to get thru the sore part .. Can only get push ups done from knee rather than full at this stage , so making sure I do a little extra on others . Lower back tight as and praying no spasm      ..Food part ok ... feel like doing other exercise but holding back so I don't burn out or injure.

Day 3

 Prone to straining calf , hope It doesn't happen on the skipping. Like it but calves are sore . Push ups hard when you're a big unit. Just a case of hardening up!
