Day 90

Before starting PCP I went through different diets and processes thinking how to reduce my weight, I never thought I was needing a huge change in my lifestyle. I was needing to do more than forcing myself to eat in a strange order which I was not going to maintain in the long run.

Couple weeks before starting the PCP I met a cousin who just finished his programme, I couldn't believe nor understand his story about PCP. I had a little doubt about it but decided to try it with my blinded eyes, thinking I had nothing to lose.

I went from 76kg to 69.5kg, a 6.5kg success story. More than numbers, I went from no exercise, low muscled and big fat body, to a new Bernardo willing to get out of a comfortable bed to do workouts, have a lean body and eat healthy. I discovered healthy food, that's amazing. I don't know and don't care about my new %'s, I feel excellent and that's more than enough. 

With PCP I wanted to reduce my weight, I found the way to eat better and got the motivation to do workouts without a gun on my head.

I hope I can teach my close ones to follow the same lifestyle so they can get the same smile I have nowadays.

Thanks Patrick and the PCP team. And thanks to my PCP partners, your blogs kept me in the programme just because I was not the only one in the same tough routine.

Day 89

Couple days to the end, I am feeling happy with the last guides and principles, they are giving us the idea of how to follow with our diet and future exercises. I believe this process has tought us enough to maintain a good fitness.

Yesterday I felt what Patrick told us before, a hard exercise day with difficulty to finish all the routine. Planks are my nightmare.

Day 82

8 DAYS TO GO! Hard to reduce weight these past weeks, but with good energy to continue. I had my indulgence day on Friday, felt awful after eating that much, I was unable to get into junk food. I just ate good food but in bogger amounts. Had a good dinner with a big glass of gin tonic. I tried to eat junk, but decided to get the nice things in bogger amounts. Happy to be back in track.

Days are passing really fast, sometime ago we were just starting and feeling the need to say goodbye to fat, now I don't want this to finish.

Great Day! Had a late routine last night, time is hard sometimes because of all the activities at work and family stuff. Skipping is long but recomforting. Feels great to get into bed tired.

Day 75

Hey guys, I had an indulgence Friday, finally got to do a lot of eating I haven't got during the PCP. First, had a nice business lunch at one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Bogota. Ate ok without going too much. In the night had a couple drinks. The result: felt really bad during the weekend, with a huge belly that wanted to destroy with hundreds of abs and jumpropes.

Day 71

Good skipping day for me, I continue to see the evolution in my body, my belly has almost disappeared. 20 days more to go.

Sorry to see all the damages the weather is doing in my country, hope things get better for all this people affected by the rains.

Day 69

It is incredible but after 60+ days I still feel trouble with the jumpropes, probably getting to the failure mode. PCP is not easy as Patrick said, it is hard to get fit and is great to feel this way.

Day 68

Let's start a new week with great energy. Got back to the scale and lost half a kilo more. Exercises are tough, not the best guy doing planks and the hard abs, haven't been able to finish the complete plank series but doing as much as I can. This amount of reps are hard but great to finish a routine and feel exhausted, with the muscles pumped. I am receiving great opinions from people around, they see the changes and getting to see the comparision between pictures its great.

Day 65

Good Morning, happy after a nice week of work, just starting a nice weekend where I expect to be doing my exercises with all the energy. My kid is going to his grandpa's house while I will stay with my wife at home as she has been told to lay down for couple days after having trouble with her pregnancy. Hope everything will be ok.

Day 62

Back to Bogota after a nice weekend under the sun. My city is 2.600 mts over see level, driving away for three hours I get to a paradise almost at see level where we own a little house with a pool, where I can find sun all year long (little rains but sun al over the year). It is great relaxing there without having to take a plane to the far pacific or caribbean ocean. My kid enjoys this place a lot, and I can do my exercises in good mood. 
Got my exercises half way but full 100% diet.

Day 58

Hi guys, finishing a nice week here in Bogota and starting another long weekend (3-day holiday). Got back my scale which is marking 69.6  to 70.5 kg for the past week, this is amazing: 6 kg under. I will be far from internet again, this is also great leaving away my Mac for a couple of days.

Day 56

This weekend I accompanied my wife to Hamburguesas El Corral (a fast food place), she was happy eating a burger with fries. I picked one and still fill the oil and salt in my mouth after two days... Its incredible how the body feels about that kind of stuff.

Day 55

Good Morning, back to office after a long holiday weekend. I went out of town to a place without internet but with enoguh space to think and relax.
Had trouble convincing my mother-in-law what or what not I could eat in my diet, at the end I went to the closest meals as possible to meet the amounts, wasn't 100% exact but almost.
The exercises felt excellent, harder than before, but feeling quite good. I want to continue improving and meeting 100% the whole routine, some exercises are really tough like the planks or the v-sits. I feel I am mastering them after couple of days of hard times.

Day 51

Yesterday I went to buy a pair of jeans for my birthday, asked for my normal size 32 and had to go down to 30. First time after 15 years I use 30. Even I had to use 34 some 3 years ago.

On the diet I am doing ok, I think I have to turno more creative in the cooking side because the food is turning to be a little boring.

I feel planks are the hardest of all, I haven't been able to do the complete set for 60 secs, have done as much as possible. Hope in a couple days I can finish at least the 60 secs x 4 times.

Day 49

Hi guys, had an excellent day yesterday in the office, achieved my goal on the first day of the month and have the rest of the month to gain some comissions. So I got home and did my routine with a lot of energy, had to wait till my kid went to bed, but after that I had a great exercise routine.

Day 48

Good exercises yesterday at home. I have tried exercises at the gym and at home, all at once, prefer the gym but yesterday at home I distributed the skipping and the routine in two parts. It was great.

I have kept the diet almost 99% of the PCP throughout the process and haven't gone to the scale for the past month, I believe I need to see the evolution just to rise the motivation. My exercises have been to a 85% I believe, hope I can keep doing them right, the only messy ones are the v-sits.

Day 47

The weekend ends for me, most of you are already half the way in a new Monday. Happy to be ok after couple days with the flu attacking my good energy. It is hard to count the minutes while skipping, did as much skips during 15 minutes, at the end I was equally tired and ready to the set of exercises.

Hey guys, doing great with PCP, unfortunately the flew is getting in my body. Hope it goes fast. I will continue my diet and exercises as much as I can with this sickness.

I am happy with the routines, each time the exercises are tougher. V-sits have been improving.

Day 40

Happy weekend for me, hope you guys were ok also. I didn't do my exercises 100%, but went as much as possible in between all the family activities. Managed to do good cardio, running while my kid was in tennis class.

On the diet I am quite ok, no problem at all and happy seeing how my pants are getting loose.

Day 37

PCP is showing its results. My kid had a small accident in our bathroom and broke our scale, so I haven't been able to weigh myself for the last week. I just know the results are coming because all my pants are feeling loose.

I just saw the 8min Abs video, funny to see their clothes, it seems it is an excellent routine. Want to try it tomorrow. I don't know how I can arrange to do the skipping in the mornings, I will try to do it at least once each week.

Time has passed and fortunately we are still in the mood of doing exercises, hope this continues till the end of the PCP. My body is tired but I am happy to see the changes.

Hi, I was out of the city for a holiday weekend with low quality internet, hard to get my blog on.

Went 95% on my diet although I was with all my family having a nice weekend under the sun. It was a great relax doing good exercise and all the routines.

Starting a new positive day. Yesterday I went through all the routine late in the night after a long day of work. I was tired but knew about my own compromise on PCP and was happy to do the exercises. They are turning harder at the same time I am seeing great changes in my body.

Day 27

This month my job has been hard but fortunately the PCP has given me good energy to interact with my clients and be more relaxed on the tough times. Good energy for a hard time!
Yesterday I started to jumprope again, no trouble with my knee. Happy for that.

Day 26

Great weekend with my kid and wife. I had to escape from a couple wines glasses, its not easy to avoid people wanting you to drink with them, but after they see your progress, your close ones accept your NO and will want to know more about PCP. For example, my wife wants to start the PCP after she has our baby, and one of my best friends is already getting into the web page.
I hope to start jumpropes again today, my knee is feeling ok now.

This week all the food is looking amazing.... Wanting to eat and eat... Just having to escape from it, and my wife is cooking delicious cakes, mousses and macarrones. It's been a dificult week, but still keeping my diet. And happy with it. Hanging in.

Day 21

Hi everyone. Had great training yesterday night, having a great night sleep with my kid in my bed (he got to our bed at 3 am). I feel that after this couple weeks I am feeling happier and more active thanks to PCP. Yesterday I had a 40 minutes active walk before doing the routine and will continue doing it for a couple of days while my knee gets better.

Woke up this morning feeling great after doing my PCP exercises last night. I had to change the jumpropes for 30 mins walking, but at the end I got all my exercises in place. I feel motivated and see how my weight is getting down slowly.

Hi guys, just coming back to the office after a nice weekend out of the city. Did all the routines confortably under the sun, just having trouble jumping rope, so I had to jog for over 20 minutes. Happy to be back and start a new month.

Day 14

Very happy with the PCP results. I found out that talking about PCP to the people around me has improved my desire to continue.
Sorry guys, English is not my native language and sometimes I don't find the words to express what I am feeling about this programme. Fortunately, writing it helps practice the language that I only use sometimes in my work.

Hope everyone is ok. Patrick, I am having little pain in my left knee, I had a surgery 4 years ago and thought it was not a problem. May I alternate exercises like jogging or using the Eliptic machine at the gym?

Weekend in th countryside

I spent the weekend in the countryside with my family, had very good sleep and good time to do all the routines. The problem was today when I came back to work and had a business lunch. I found a good restaurant that serves meat, but it was not easy to weight. Hope I did ok.

Just asked my wife to give me 170g of carrots, she had to go to the grocery store to buy all this amount, she says its more than 4 carrots. Wow!!!

Day 6

I felt  little hungry today, but got home to a precious half-meat and vegetables. Always doing my routine around 8 pm and ready to go to sleep. Heard sleep is also very important to recover from all this hard work. Good luck guys on our last day before the Diet starts.

I imagine everyone is having the same questions as I have, lots of exercises and still the fat is there in my belly. I think that what Frank just wrote these past 2 days helps us understand how the fat is going to disappear. Everyone keep positive.

My kid wants to know how we do the exercises, he wants to learn everything. He is funny doing squats and push-ups. And now he is teaching me the exercises he has learnt in kindergarden.
